Day 29: Chichester and Bat Walk

After further repairs to the Van (Thanks, Dad), left the spa, and headed back out into the wilderness. First stop - Chichester. I enjoyed squeezing the van into the ridiculously small space. Yeah, "Car parking space for 900 cars" - What cars? - Toy cars, Smart cars - definitely not real cars. And definitely not campervans. Raced round the Cathedral (After all, I wasn't going to pay for that ridiculously small parking spot). Later on (after much grumbling about parking) headed to The Weald and Downland Open Air Museum for a guided Bat Walk. An hour later, I found myself wandering the fields clutching a bat detector......in the pitch black...with a group of likeminded (i.e utterly mental) individuals. Bats were elusive. The ferociously hungry midges and gnats were not.
