Day 30: Brighton

Spent last night 'wildcamping' - which means I didn't sleep a wink and by 7.30am I was that crazy woman in Tescos buying utterly random items - "figs...of course I need figs." Sigh - anyone know any fig recipes?? Headed to Brighton - for the Mechanical Memories Museum - which suffice to say, shouldn't have bothered. Took a free (yes!) guided tour - which should have lasted 30 mins - and actually took 90 mins (poor feet) - but pretty good way to see the city. Turned out that today was the Gay Pride Parade in Brighton (the normal date having been delayed by the Olympics). Certainly, made the trip more colourful.....though I could have given people a few suggestions as to what to do with those bloody whistles.
