Wild

A walk down the canal late this afternoon in the sunshine led me to this wild flower.

So many people enjoying the sunshine along the canal. Bumped into some friends walking their dog along the towpath.

And the smell of wood smoke as I walked back along the lane was wonderful, with wood fires burning in the hearths already. Bring on those autumnal misty mornings!
