Light and dark

Another stroll down the canal again late this afternoon.
And busier than yesterday too.
More sunshine brought more people out and the warmth of the sun was amazing.

Managed to take a few shots of a sparrow hawk and although he was some distance away from me, he didn't seem to appreciate me pointing my camera at him. He switched his location and landed even further away from me.
I'll get him again another day.

So many possible blips to choose from this afternoon, but I liked how this fern was lit up by the sun shining through the hedgerows as I made my way back home down the lane.

I can't believe the forecast for tomorrow predicts a high of 70 f here in Lancashire.
Hope it's just as good where you are.
