Growing Free....

It has been raining all day. Not heavily but enough to nicely dampen the lawns and gardens.
These small violas....at least I assume they are violas.... appear to be growing from nothing amongst the concrete paving next to a potted petunia. I am amazed at how easily some plants grow in extraordinary places. We have delicate daisies, oregano and parsley appearing to thrive in the concrete of the same patio area.
