Autumn Evening....

We have enjoyed a fine sunny day here in Marlborough albeit with a brisk cold south-easterly wind. Here is a sheltered corner of our garden in the late afternoon sun
It seems a world away from the horrific weather woes being suffered by folk in the top part of the North Island. They are enduring floods, road closures, slips and the terrible weather is said to continue for a day or two. Our thoughts are with the folk in the badly affected areas.
