Dunstanburgh
Ailie and I had a morning walk from Craster towards Newton-by-the Sea. It was beautifully sunny though the wind hampered our progress, so we didn't have time to get right to the village. However we had done 6 miles by the time we got back to Craster for our lunch -Ailie had a crab sandwich and I had kipper pate. We had a half pint of sheep dip then headed home as I had to get to Whitley Bay to pick up the boys as their dad had to work late and mum was at a presentation with Steve Cram no less. She is running for his charity in the Great North Run.
The boys were very good. It was lovely to spend a bit of time with them.
