One of the downsides of preparing a major report is that the working day is spent in front of a computer screen and in discussion with colleagues. And some of them are reluctant to be near me with the cold I've got. Even lunch was brought in. So minimal opportunities for a blip.

So as in previous days, glad I took a shot before leaving home. The new greenhouse has provided the opportunity to bring on some seedlings early and the sweet pea are looking good. Some onions, leeks and Livingston daisies are also pushing through so if I can keep them alive - and tidy the flower beds in the garden - we might have a display of sorts later in the year.
