Inspiration

This is Scottish Apprenticeship Week and to mark it every minister is visiting modern apprentices.

I went to Murrayfield this morning to meet some inspirational young people who are coaching rugby and making a huge difference to fitness, participation and achievement.

As part of the visit I got a tour of the stadium and was inspired too by the Scotland dressing room where each place has a list of those who have worn that particular jersey with distinction in past years.

I thought I might honour a particular favourite , Peter Brown , who wore Number 5 and was, uniquely, captain in three wins against England, as well as having Mull antecedents and being a keen photographer.
