like it wants to fail

I thought it best to check out what was causing the ticking feeling from the back wheel in case it was something stuck to it, working its way through to eventual puncture. Assuming that this lasts long enough to get me into work tomorrow it'll be replaced by something different. I haven't had one shed this much skin since running some 23mm versions of the same tyre into the ground a few years ago, so I thought the fatter models were maybe a little less prone to it. Might be time to go back to Marathons Plus, as the one on the front is rounder than a Gatorskin and less susceptible to getting bits of glass jammed in the tread than the Armadillo.
