Och Eye

The year has almost gone (you knew that) and I was trying to come up with something intelligent to say but words have failed me in a time when the Banks have imploded and two sets of people in the Gazza strip are killing each other using the curious argument that you started it first (that makes one of them wrong!!!).
So anyway I'm going to leave it to my hero Jacob Bronowski (mathematician and Biologist) to have the final word, and wish you all a very Happy New Year.

'It is said that science will dehumanise people and turn them into numbers. That is false, tragically false. In the concentration camp and crematorium at Auschwitz, that is where people were turned into numbers. Into its pond were flushed the ashes of four million people. And that was not done by gas.
