Day 31: Hastings and Kipling

Set off early to Hastings - which has the air of a forgotten, or maybe abandoned, Victorian seaside resort. Tragic as it may be, the burnt out husk of a pier photographs quite well (Have to look on the bright side!) Trundled around 1066 country before arriving at Bateman's (Kipling's home). Whipped round as important event was to shortly begin (and you didn't want to miss the 1st lap.) Big thanks to Sky Go for delivering when BBC Iplayer failed.
