Moonrise over the Duomo Florence

Our last day in Florence - its been a great trip and we'd hope to come back . The sun shone again today and I was almost searching for some sunscreen . 
In the morning we went to the Uffizi gallery . We'd booked tickets and thus avoided some pretty big looking queues . An added bonus was that it was some sort of Woman's day and the chief got in free. We spent the morning in the gallery which as some points ( the Botticelli rooms / Da Vinci area ) was mobbed . The art was amazing though and the gallery seemed a little more manageable than say the Louvre which just seems enormous . 
In the afternoon we went to the Boboli Gardens and had a stroll in the sunshine - may be while till we see some warm sunshine again . 
We also did some shopping - the chief managing to buy 2 handbags in 10 mins - a record even for her.
