Just grass?

One of the reasons that we have a beautiful open parkland at the end of our street is because of this innocent looking grass (at least I think it's this one). Shortly before we moved here there was a plan to sell off the park for 40 house blocks. The local residents objected and after an environmental impact study was competed it was discovered to be the home of a very rare grass species. Thank goodness for small but very important things.
