Nature's reflex
We've had sunshine and showers today, and my hip being unusually sore this morning I decided not to go for a walk but to be satisfied with a home Blip. This is a potful of Narcissus cyclamineus, a dainty wee daffodil from the NW corner of the Iberian Peninsula.
There was a lawn full of them at Arduaine and though they didn't appear to spread by seed there may have been warm springs when they did set seed, as there was a scattering of bulbs popping up in flower beds around the area where they probably wouldn't have been planted, and a number of obvious hybrids would emerge between the bulbs of the real thing.
A lovely early-flowering daffy for short grass in damp ground.
