Wardlaw

An ancient path to an ancient place. Hill fort, Roman camp, site of signal fires and where the Clan Maxwell gathered in times of strife. Wardlaw can be seen from the Solway. Now the domain of badgers and bluebells, but today I had the place to myself :-)
