View from the Top

Our apartment for this week is the top floor of the lovely house you can see in extras.  This is the window you can see in the centre of the roof.  It is one of the windows in the lounge and you can see the fabulous view we have across the Shropshire countryside towards the Clee Hills.  

After our little adventure across the fields yesterday, we decided we would have relaxing day with the Sunday papers and little extra things that we've been needing to sort out for ages.  We went out on the bikes first down to Craven Arms to get the paper and a few vital supplies.  I've done my bit of paper reading.  SHH will take all week...

One outcome of the paper reading is the booking of an outing on 12 April to Compton Verney to see the "Creating the Countryside" art exhibition.  We are going on that day because we can also do a guided tour of the grounds on a Segway!  How exciting is that!  All details on the Compton Verney website if you fancy it!  We're on the 12.30 tour.  If you book it at the same time as the Exhibition, and you are an Art Fund member, it should cost you about £33.  Could be a Blipmeet!  Let me know if you think it's a good idea!

Of course you could just visit the venue and ignore the extras.
