Trees and Clouds

I struggled to know where to go this afternoon but didn't want to travel too far. I ended up just heading up the local lanes looking for my blip. The first stop failed to give me what I was looking for although it did end up giving me the shot I've added as an extra.

The weather brightened a little after that and I stopped for this tree which I thought had a great shape and I thought the composition worked out quite well too. The weather seems to have improved significantly since I returned home. Ha!
