A good day. 

A run / walk this morning with the pushchair - one child slept through the entire hour and a half of it, the other was very happy cocooned inside in his warm seat with the rain cover protecting him and needed quite a bit of persuasion to get out and walk. As we passed Bagendon Church (in the picture), the congregation were belting out 'all things great and small'. 

We had some old friends visiting for lunch, which was delightful.  Having gone out without a watch or phone, I just about made it back in time to get lunch on the table without having a toddler melt-down (but only just).  This averted, we had a lovely lunch catching up, reminiscing and planning future merry meetings. 

The latest assignment is very, very nearly complete, the student is in the proofing and tidying phase, we're within touching distance of the last of the assignments - the man deserves several pints when they are all done and dusted.  Although we'll then be into exams...
