Cherry plums and bees

We have a Prunus cerasifera 'Nigra' which is blossoming its socks off at the moment but I'm finding it difficult to do it justice with the camera: the blossom looks especially pale and boring when the weather is dull and overcast. However blue sky sets it off beautifully so I grab my camera when the sky is cloudless and keep trying to get that elusive picture. The blossom positively hums with bees of all descriptions when the sun is out so it's actually quite difficult to avoid including at least one photobomber in any shot. This one coming in to land was my favourite.
