Domestic jungle

More messing about with those paint sample sheets: here the succulents are trying to look all jungly against a blue, albeit slightly wrinkled 'sky'.  

W had the day off today but we both were feeling a bit meh. Me with strange fluey symptoms; him with another cold. We decided to go to yoga anyway which at least did the trick for me. It does puzzle me how I ALWAYS leave yoga feeling so much better than when I arrive. Not complaining though. 

In the afternoon it was trip to Guildford's LCE to buy a 35mm prime lens for us to argue over and, given that I reckoned I'd be the one who'd end up with, hmm, fewer opportunities to use it let's say,  I felt it was entirely reasonable to explore the shop's camera bag options for one which met my, so far elusive, criteria (protective, accessible, fits the camera, doesn't look like a camera bag). Was very pleased to find a Crumpler which seemed to do all those things rather brilliantly. On our way home we stopped off at the Watts Gallery Tearoom (second time in a week!) for a very splendid and enormous scone and cup of tea.
