"Ewe are a great Mum!"

Every year the farm across the road has a "maternity ward" on the farmhouse lawn. The rest of the flock is a distance away so any lambing ewes that need extra care are brought home so that they can be kept an eye on.

This year there is a mum with one tiny lamb with very wobbly legs. Last year they arrived on the lawn on 1st March so they're a bit later this year.

Mum didn't take her eyes off me as I looked over their garden wall to take their photo. She could have found a more photographic spot than in front of the left over fencing though!
