Mono-Monday: Depth of Field

Many thanks to Skeena for hosting this month and for choosing this  excellent theme.  I love images with shallow depth of field so I definitely felt I had to give this one a go. 

Many thanks for all the lovely anniversary wishes yesterday.  34 years, where does the time go?

Right now the sky is blue and it is above freezing so it is hard to believe that we are going to get hit by some heavy snow later this evening. Our predictions are for 6-8 inches, perhaps a foot, but to the north of us, it is going to be quite a big blizzard event.  Our roads have already been treated, husband is checking the snowblower to make sure it is in working order and bringing in some wood for the fire.  ....And it appears we are well stocked with wine. ;-)   Winter Storm Stella, bring it on!   We have nowhere we need to be, so having a snow day will be most enjoyable.... I just wish this had happened in Jan or Feb when it was supposed to and we were in Florida, and not when spring is right around the corner.
