Lovely sunny day

I was up several times in the night with A. He's got another cough and a temperature. I decided that we both needed a quiet day at home so after dropping P at school we came home and made a pineapple upside down cake. A taste sensation from the past!

We had a bit of down time and A watched the heffalump movie whilst I painted another coat of gloss on the dining room door.

After lunch and a top up of calpol A was feeling loads better. We went for a bike ride around the village. We took some snacks to enjoy on a bench in the sunshine. When we got back home we went out in the garden to enjoy even more of the warm weather. A asked for the seesaw, hula hoop and little tikes car to play with and was as happy as Larry. P joined him in the garden once she was home, before we then headed back out again for Rainbows.
