Snail Trail

A very mild misty night for a walk with my dog Tahoe.
He is new to this sort of thing and tonight he encountered snails for the first time.
Being a good night for snails to be out and about, our progress around the neighborhood was hilariously slow.
Tahoe thoroughly investigated at least 15 snails before he realized (thank goodness), "I've seen, smelled and tasted one, so I've seen, smelled and tasted them all".
Gosh, I love dogs.
