Eugene Skinner Cabin

My dog Bali decided she could not tolerate the other dogs in her obedience class this evening.
She seemed to be in a panic mode.
While her brother stayed with Kathy in the class,  Bali and I absconded to nearby Skinner Butte City Park.
As Bali slowly collected herself, I enjoyed the evening and a close look at the reproduction of Eugene and Mary Skinner's first home in Oregon as it was back in 1846.
I had never considered what a different place our fair city of Eugene might be if it were called "Skinner".
