Very Dry Leaves
This afternoon we picked blackberries up the hill where we used to walk Jack and Annie. It was the first time we'd picked this year. Our timing was not optimum -- someone had been picking in the same place not long before us -- but I managed to fill the half gallon milk carton suspended like a pendant on a string around my neck.
These dry, twisted leaves were in sharp contrast to the healthy vines behind them, and I found the shapes quite fascinating. The one on the left reminded me of my recent snake skin blip. After staring at the photo for a while, I saw the man in the moon, or perhaps a pigeon's head. Is it just me?
P.S. I also like the spiral at the bottom of the other leaf, but it doesn't remind me of anything.
