Ford's Hospital

I'm in Coventry for a couple of interesting meetings. On my way to the first, I walked though the Cathedral(s) and what remains of Coventry's once magnificent medieval centre, sadly almost wholly destroyed by bombing in November 1940.

This blip shows the inner courtyard of Ford's Hospital, an alms house "for the ladies of Coventry" built in the early 16th century. It was badly damaged by the bombing but was rebuilt, using the original timbers, in the 1950s.
