Butterfly

Looks like its going to be a sunny week so I thought I'd try and photograph a butterfly a day. Any butterfly will do but this proved harder than I imagined.

I keep hearing and reading that other people are seeing them everywhere, 12 to a flower etc. I have hardly seen any and just a couple that I actually had any chance of photographing. I had a perfect looking small white in beautiful light but it was off before I got close.

This one was in a dark corner but at least it was static. One of my favourites so I'm pleased to have got it.

Looks like its a male Speckled Wood to me.
