Soggy robin

Feeling slightly triumphant today. Friday is usually my day for meeting up for my pal Alice, usually we go for lunch and then, weather permitting a walk. Unfortunately she is down with a cold just now and so had to skip lunch and decided to go to one of my favourite local spots fora walk - Quarrymill. 

For the past few years people have been telling me they've seen kingfishers there but I've never been lucky enough to see one. Until today when i saw not one but three! Unfortunately they refused to play ball with regard to having their photo taken - unlike this very obliging robin who all but sat on my camera - and so I've put the very distant photo of them in my extras. I'll be back though!
