Playing Penguin?
A male blackbird close by, perhaps getting ready to audition for an avian theatrical production. Appropriately, his perch has been prettied up a bit :) Our outing this afternoon was to the Musée du Luxembourg, for an exhibition on Camille Pissaro (1830-1903). It focusses on his work in the last two decades of his life, which he spent with his large family in the village of Éragny in Normandy. Interesting and worthwhile, but a bit monotonous.
The extra shows a scene on our way home, with a St. Laurent shop window, motorcycles, (everywhere in Paris), and a bench with graffiti reading peutetrefous ("perhaps crazy"--plural). The map shows this location, near the church of Saint-Sulpice.
