BeachGrass

I enjoyed my late afternoon walk, but the light was so grey and washed out. So, I decided I'd try to make the most of 'washed out' and go for another overexposed image. It had actually brightened up a tad by the time I got this one.
There've been quite a few of these grasses on the beach the last couple of days, getting blown around in the wind. If they land somewhere hospitable they can grow another plant on the dunes. I've called it a seedhead in the tabs, but I'm not sure that that's right.
And when the sky brightened even further, I got an image of the old Signal Station, reflected in a rock pool - in Extras.
