Land

Another day on the boat with nothing to see but ocean. Lots more Mandatory briefings to go through on how the boat operates. A few birds around and at the end of the day we finally saw land of South Shetland. Amazing to see and can’t get over how big everything is. Amazing light down here with the dark sea and then the overcast sky leaving just a letterbox opening with huge mountains. Looking forward to tomorrow and the first proper day here.
