Balloons, roses, and time
We had a good day today We had a super meal out with Elaine and Brian and they had the tale decorated with the balloons. I went to get changed and found a bunch of roses on my chair. KG claims they were not from him and as there was nobody else around they had to be - his memory is getting bad!!!! See extras
Amanda and Mr T gave us a Portmeiron clock and we need to find an home for it. Daughter number 2 elected to have a brass plaque put on Clevedon Pier so we went ot Clevedon to see the plaque and it was lovely and also ties in with time because it is a moment in time.. As we arrived the Clevedon swimmers were swimming by the pier - it was cold and windy and they got out of the water with decidedly red skins. They must be mad.
The pier itself was very interesting and they now have a porthole which looks out underneath the pier. They also had a very interesting exhibition of the history of Clevedon.
We then has lunch at the Crosshands although neither of us was very hungry. and then we chilled for the rest of the afternoon. Watched the rugby and it was a disappointing result for England.
Mostly a dull misty cold day
