Snow and disappointment

It is our wedding anniversary today and we were going to Torquay for a few days . . . .  but unfortunately we woke up to bucket loads of snow.  We decided that it wasn't worth the risk of being caught up in delays, accidents and  probably being snow bound there as well.  So we decided to postpone it until tomorrow when hopefully all the white stuff will be gone.  I have at last found another money programme that works with my accounts so happy about that. 
Our next door neighbour (who is in her 80's) fell out of bed and KG had phoned to see if she was OK and heard what had happened.  He went around to help out and they managed to get her mattress of the bed and roll her onto it.  An ambulance arrived about lunchtime and we phoned  her nephew and she is OK but being kept in for a while
Hopefully the weather will be better tomorrow and we will get off on our break.  The snow is disappearing fast now.
