Back In The City

A busy day today.  I started with the best foot forward and a bit of plumbing this morning to replace a pneumatic flush valve in a toilet.  What a terrible job.  Not that it is difficult, but I was missing the Xtra size wrench to remove the stuck plastic nuts that haven't been touched in probably 15 years.  The end solution was to remove the entire tank from the wall and pound the old plastic parts out with a big screwdriver and hammer until they broke and fell out.  hahaha, give me a big problem and a big hammer, nothing too much to handle.  I paid an extra 20 euro for the kit this morning too from the local plumbing store with respect to Amazon Prime which was an another part of the headache...

On to the climbing wall with CC which was good fun!  I then had the priveledge to join a senior's thesis focus group on Leica branding.  CC insisted that she come too and was well behaved.  We made a huge push to get their on time with a 20 minute power walk - which is where today's photo comes from.  We finished the day off at a big birthday party for 4 of CC's classmates.  Mrs. CC dropped Mr JC off at the end of the focus group for us to take along and that made for an intense two hours at the science museum between the thunderous yell of a group of young kids and trying to keep a 2 1/2 year old out of trouble....

Time to relax into a well deserved Sunday day off.   :::)))
