Saturday Self-portrait

I've been pulling my tripod out a bit more since joining Blip back in December. I manage to get somewhat decent handheld shots with my macro while holding my breath and squeezing my arms together, but am seeing how much better they are when using my tripod.  

Last Saturday, was my first crack at a selfie using my tripod and remote.  It was a good exercise for me and so thought I'd try it again this week.  I may be on a roll, so hopefully this isn't looking too vain. ;)

The celtic ring I'm wearing I bought on our Scotland trip a few years ago while visiting Iona.  It's one I treasure.  One of the best and most memorable trips of my life!
