Curious Lady

The Gambel's quail haven't been around in quite a while.  They are ground feeders but I had to stop tossing seed around the yard because it attracted kangaroo rats. An entire covey of quail used to come twice a day to nibble on that seed.  With the weather hovering around 90°/32°, it's time for them to stop by for the water.

I'm going off now to my volunteer gig at the library's computer lab; lots of older folk to help navigate through the internet maze.
