not Rupert or even Paddington

Finally caught up with myself.  Blessings for all the kind comments and stars for they have been so much appreciated and encouraging.
About 3 a.m. we had thunder and lightning that lit up the bedroom through quite thick curtains.  The water simply fell out of the sky until all the paths were rivers and we had nowhere to go until it stopped.  Then I went out with a young man who clutched his bird book and we actually saw quite a variety but the star was a peacock who displayed twice for us.  So that is the first  picasa link.  Then this afternoon I went out in a jeep into the forest where we saw 4 different black bears, crocs, deer, more peacocks, monkeys, snake, lizard, the backs of one horned rhinos (the grass was too high) and failed to see a tiger!
