Return of the Siskins

Having just told another blipfriend that I hadn't seen them for ages, who should turn up in the garden this afternoon but two siskins!  They are both males and there was no sign of any females yet, but I live in hope:-) An extra with a goldfinch too!

An April showers and sunshine day, but with the cold March temperatures and wild wind too!  I put out two washings of sheets and towels and although they got a good blow, they also got soaked with the showers and in the end I just brought them in again.  However, they still have that lovely fresh air smell that you'd love to be able to bottle:-)

My original shot was going to be of Simba lurking in the bushes, so I've added it as an extra.
