Maybe another day

I was meeting Al for lunch today to discuss the events that were my Saturday. He was running late though so texted to tell me just to go into the Italian and wait for him. I was taken to a table, given the menus and then just abandoned. Good job I wasn't dying of thirst then as I wasn't asked if I wanted a drink ........

While I waited I spotted this on the menu. It summed up my current feelings well, for if it wasn't for the fact that today was a work day I think I would have been quite happy to have hit the wine at this point.
