Beautiful Truths

Spent the day in the city, mostly to see the Diebenkorn/Matisse exhibit at SFMOMA. The show juxtaposed works by each artist to illustrate the influence Matisse had on Diebenkorn. Sometimes there were startling similarities in color or subject, and sometimes the curator was just pushing it a bit too much, but either way there were some stunning paintings by both artists.
