Flood!

All sorts of chores in Kendal this morning, including bidding farewell to my bank manager, who was, unfortunately, far too concerned with providing good customer service to last in a high street bank. I am genuinely pleased he's moving on into a good opportunity for him but God knows who I'll end up with now.

Heading back to the office, I spurned Kendal's one-way system and headed up Gillinggate and took the long way around. It was intermittently raining but I pulled over to get this shot - looking towards Whitbarrow, I think - and you can see all of the flooding.
