"P & AJ Whitaker - Auto engineers"

On the way to Morecambe from Lancaster by car, you can look across the river and see a big old brick building. I've always wanted to look at it from up close but I wasn't sure how to get there. 

This morning, after dropping Hannah at the station,  Abi and I checked on Google Maps and then drove 'round to have a look. Up close, it has all that appeals to me about abandoned buildings; the plants, the old signs, the rust and decay, and the air of intrigue and even mystery.
