You Gotta Be Sure Enough to Walk on Thru the Night
This morning, I was dropping himself at work (Himself, feeling a tad pleased with himself, because someone mistook him for Boy), and I decided to take a wee run.
I have a friend who is photographer, and I used to work beside him, and he always took amazing shots of Arran, towering over the town we worked in. I always loved those photos, so I thought I would head up there to recreate it.
First off. where he stood was not where I thought he stood.
Second off, the fact that he is 6'7" means that he has a scope of vision which is completely different from mine, being over a foot taller than me.
But anyways. I found the spot, realised that I'd have to clamber up someone's wall to get the angle he gets, and gave that idea up. I settled for this angle, because I could see the glacial features of Arran beautifully - the Corrie and the Aretes, the masts from the marina, and a good whack of the town too.
It's not perfect, but it is lovely.
:-)
And it was flipping cold. Again
