There and back again

The Valley of the Axe

After yesterdays quick visit to Dartmoor and its sleet and snow it feels quite warm back here. Todays Blip is looking across the valley from Trinity Hill towards Honiton and on to Exeter. You can see the A35 toad running up from the bottom right and the two rivers, the Axe and the Yarty, are just visible funning from right to left across the picture. In the top left of the picture you can see the village of Kilmington where the old Roman road can still be found running through the woods. This was one of the major Roman routes from the east of the Country to Isca (Exeter.)
A pleasant view I think during these early days of spring
