Crab Wood

We had torrential rain this morning, followed be a beautiful afternoon (followed by a bit more rain, but let's not go into that!).  So after lunch I took myself off to Crab Wood, a wonderful piece of ancient coppiced woodland near here.  The flowers underfoot weren't nearly as far on as I thought they'd be, but it was a lovely walk all the same.

And then, what with one thing and another, I've got very late posting.  Partly because of listening to the horrid news from Westminster.  I was very close to all of this yesterday.  Today I'm lucky only to have to say how sorry I am for all the poor people involved.  What a dreadful thing to have happened!
