Had to lay a new path in the garden to meet fire regulations, not the best weather to do it in I'm afraid but then again it cost quite a bit so why should I worry if the contractor got wet!
Also had a leak in the roof (not the fault of yesterdays blip, just a coincidence), left to drive south at four leaving a bucket and instructions on emptying it with an retired Fireman so he should have the required skill set, repairs due Friday. Now sat in the Hotel for n Stratford after a challenging drive down the M1 in the torrent......
