Oh What Great Teeth You Have

As I was marvelling at the male Mallard's plumage in the sun, I couldn't help but to notice the little teeth that looked so razor sharp. 

I love this time of year.  As Spring slowly unfolds, I love how so many birds begin to pair off, the courting begins, the eggs are laid, and soon the chicks (or ducklings, goslings, owlets, etc.) will be plentiful!  I think today must have been a shock for many as the temperature dropped about 20 degrees from yesterday. Brrrr...back to the winter coats momentarily.
