Guarding the Boundary

This being a Scottish garden, its furthest boundary has to have a rowan to protect the inhabitants from witches and the like.

I have never seen such a glorious 'crop' of rowan berries generally as we have on Arran at present: like the roses, they've outdone themselves this season. Will the brambles do the same?

Oh .... and it's always good to have a palm tree too! Obviously it's not the Nth Lanarkshire garden! Although we have a rowan at that boundary too!
